Chris Godwin Ruled Out For Week 17
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (hamstring) has officially been ruled out for the Week 17 season finale against the Falcons. One of the most popular 2019 breakout candidates in the preseason, Godwin did not disappoint with a career-high 86 catches (121 targets) for 1,333 yards and nine total touchdowns. It was the 23-year-old's first 1,000-yard season in his third year in the NFL. Unfortunately he wasn't available at the biggest time for fantasy owners in Week 16, but Godwin should once again have WR1 upside in Tampa's offense in 2020 with quarterback Jameis Winston expected to remain under center. Breshad Perriman and Justin Watson will close out the year as the top two pass-catchers with Mike Evans (hamstring) on Injured Reserve.
