Chris Davis Out Again Wednesday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis, who is in an all-time worst 0-for-49 slump dating back to last season, is out of the starting lineup for the second straight game on Wednesday. Trey Mancini is starting at first base and is batting cleanup against A's starter Frankie Montas. The Orioles are understandably trying to let Davis clear his head. He still has power but just hasn't made much contact with the baseball in recent seasons. Avoid him in all fantasy leagues right now. Mancini is off to a nice start, hitting .372 (16-for-43) with five long balls, 11 runs and 11 RBI. He's a nice low-priced DFS option for Wednesday.
