Chris Davis' Fall Continues
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis struck out in all three of his at-bats and was booed by the fans during the team's home opener on Thursday. He was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning. Davis has twice led the majors in home runs with Baltimore, but he's struggled ever since a seven-year, $161 million deal signed in January of 2016. He hit .168 with a league-worst 37 percent strikeout rate in 2018 and is 0-for-17 with 11 strikeouts to begin this season. The 33-year-old slugger finished last year on an 0-for-21 skid. You can't rely on him at all in any fantasy leagues right now.
