Chris Carson Will Be Ready For Season
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider said that running back Chris Carson (hip) is doing great and will be ready for the start of the 2020 season. The Seahawks have been optimistic all offseason that Carson will be ready after he fractured his hip in Week 16 of last season. He rushed for 1,230 yards and seven touchdowns on 278 carries before his injury as the lead back, and with Rashaad Penny (knee) questionable for the start of the season, Carson should remain the unquestioned lead back with RB1 upside. Carson has the benefit of operating in a run-first offense in Seattle, too, but he'll be a high-risk RB1 because of his injury history.
