6 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (hip), linebacker K.J. Wright (knee) and defensive end Frank Clark (illness) did not practice on Wednesday. Carson is expected to return to practice on Thursday. Carson was a surprise inactive in Week 4, and in his absence Mike Davis posted a 100-yard game. The 24-year-old should be able to return in a tough matchup against the Rams this weekend, but even if he plays, he'll likely be splitting work with Davis and rookie Rashaad Penny. This is a backfield to avoid if you can. The defense could really use Wright back with Mychal Kendricks being hit with an indefinite suspension for insider trading. Clark should be able to play in Week 5. He has eight tackles and three sacks in four weeks and will be needed to slow down quarterback Jared Goff and the high-flying Rams attack.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
