Chris Boucher Returns To Action With 16 Points, Seven Rebounds
4 years agoToronto Raptors forward/center Chris Boucher logged 37 minutes in his first game since April 21 on Tuesday, leading the team with 16 points in a 115-96 loss to the Clippers. He shot 5-for-15 from the field and 4-for-5 at the charity stripe with a 2-for-9 record from deep. Boucher also bagged one steal and one block. The Raptors rolled without all of their big guns here, which gave Boucher the opportunity to eat up plenty of minutes straight away after returning from a knee problem. Toronto is eliminated from playoff contention, so we can expect head coach Nick Nurse to give plenty of action to fringe players over the last few games of the season, and Boucher will be among their best offensive options.
