5 years agoThe Pittsburgh Pirates placed starting pitcher Chris Archer (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday with right shoulder inflammation. Pitcher Dario Agrazal was called up from Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move. Archer was pulled from his start on Tuesday and has endured a rough first year in Pittsburgh, going 3-9 with a 5.19 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 143 strikeouts in 119 2/3 innings (23 starts). He might only wind up missing a start or two, but at this point we wouldn't blame you if you dumped the right-hander in shallow leagues. Agrazal has a 4.29 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 19 K's in 42 innings (eight starts) for the Bucs this year. He'll be a deep league streaming option without much upside in the right matchups if he fills in for Archer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
