6 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs would like to sign defensive end Chris Jones to a contract extension before he is eligible to become a free agent after the 2020 season. The Chiefs are currently in conversations with Jones on an extension, but nothing is expected to happen anytime soon. For a Chiefs defense that moved on from veterans Dee Ford, Justin Houston and Eric Berry this offseason, Jones is an important building block for KC on that side of the ball. He led the team with 15.5 sacks in 2018 and will once again be in play in IDP leagues in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
