Chiefs Want To Extend Tyreek Hill, Chris Jones
6 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs offseason priorities include trying to reach long-term contract extensions with wide receiver Tyreek Hill and defensive end Chris Jones. Hill, 25 in March, set career highs across the board in his third season in catches (87), yards (1,479) and touchdowns (12) and has become one of the best home run threats in football as a WR1 with quarterback Patrick Mahomes under center. Jones was third in the NFL behind Aaron Donald and J.J. Watt with 15.5 sacks in 2018. The Chiefs could also use the franchise tag on impending free-agent linebacker Dee Ford, who had an exceptional year rushing the passer for KC.
