Chase Edmonds An Intriguing Starting Option
4 years agoLast week, Arizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds (ankle) saw more carries than Kenyan Drake for the first time this year. Edmonds rushed 11 times for 47 yards, while Drake managed only 26 yards on 10 attempts. Edmonds has been more involved than Drake in the passing game all year. The fact that he might be in line to see a similar rushing workload to Drake could mean great things for his fantasy potential this coming week against the San Francisco 49ers. Edmonds is currently questionable for the game as he's dealing with an ankle injury, but he seems likely to play. He's a solid flex option with upside in deep PPR leagues in Week 16. He's seen exactly five targets in four straight games. Pair that work with eight to 10 carries and he's got a shot to deliver a strong performance, albeit against a tough 49ers Defense.
