Chase Anderson Gets Another Start
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson limited the Dodgers to one hit and two walks while striking out five over five innings in his first start of the season on Saturday. He also touched 96 mph on the radar gun with his fastball and had solid velocity all the way through the outing. Anderson is now 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 18 strikeouts over 15 innings in six outings. Manager Craig Counsell confirmed on Sunday that Anderson will make another start this Friday against the Mets. While he's on the rise, owners need to remember that Anderson was booted from the rotation late last year and wasn't even included on their postseason roster. With Corbin Burnes in the minors and Freddy Peralta hurt, though, Anderson could stick in the rotation. He's an option for those in deep mixed and NL-only leagues.
