2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon told reporters on Friday that he intends to exercise his $18 million player option for the 2023 season. Blackmon went on to state that he is not thinking beyond the 2023 campaign at the moment. The veteran outfielder went on the injured list earlier in the week with a knee injury that ended his 2022 season. Blackmon is 36 now, but he still showed he has some gas left in the tank as he hit .264 with 16 homers, 78 RBI, 60 runs, and four steals across 135 games played.--Matt T - RotoBaller
