5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon (calf) is not in the starting lineup on Friday after fouling a ball off his calf on Thursday. It has the potential to be a lingering issue, so don't be surprised if Blackmon has to sit out again this weekend or even go on the injured list. Raimel Tapia is in left field and leading off, while Ian Desmond is in center field and is batting fifth against Orioles starting pitcher John Means. Even in the left-lefty matchup, Tapia is a fine DFS choice in the leadoff spot. He's batting .289/.331/.531 with five home runs, 15 runs and 20 RBI in 128 at-bats for the Rockies in 2019.
