6 years agoDespite his recent exit from the Buccaneers, running back Charles Sims could return to the team in the coming weeks. The former 2014 third-round pick was waived by the Buccaneers Thursday and will be eligible to return three games after the number of games he was paid for. While this scenario may be unlikely, it leaves the door open for a reunion between the two if it so suits them. Tampa Bay may be in need of a third-down back come mid-season if Jacquizz Rodgers loses a step or Ronald Joens II cannot fulfill the role.--Kev Mahserejian
