7 years agoThe Los Angeles Chargers are signing free-agent tight end Virgil Green on Wednesday, according to a source. Always somewhat of a sleeper tight end for Denver, he never lived up to they hype and had only 14 receptions for 191 yards and one touchdown in 2017. He recorded one touchdown each of the last four seasons for Denver, and his main specialty is run blocking. Expect Green to serve as Hunter Henry's backup in his new digs, depending on what happens with free-agent tight end Antonio Gates.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
