5 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Chad Pinder is starting in left field and is hitting second on Friday night against Mariners left-handed starting pitcher Wade LeBlanc. With Khris Davis (hip, oblique) officially landing on the injured list on Friday, both Pinder and Mark Canha should see more playing time in the short term. They both have power potential and are worth scooping up in deep mixed leagues. Pinder is a career .279 hitter against southpaws and is hitting .268/.307/.449 with five long balls and 16 RBI this year.
