Carter Hart Suffers A Lower-Body Injury
3 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers goaltender Carter Hart had his night at the office cut short by a lower-body injury on Tuesday against Washington. He exited the game after a miserable first period during which Hart coughed up three goals on 10 shots. Martin Jones came in and got hammered as well, with the Capitals scoring six goals on 27 shots against him. The severity of Hart's injury is currently unknown, but you would think that it's very unlikely that he is ready to play Wednesday against the Rangers. Jones is looking at his 29th start of the campaign. It's a rough matchup, but the 32-year-old has already beaten the Rangers once this month, stopping 43 of 46 shots on Apr. 3 in a 4-3 shootout victory.
