Carson Wentz Won't Be Held Back
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) will not be limited at all in his season debut in Week 3 against the Colts. "He's going to be prepared mentally, now it's a matter of the physical part taking over," Pederson said. "... In my mind, he's cleared, he's cleared. No need to hold back." It'll be Wentz's first start since tearing his ACL and LCL on Dec. 10 of 2017. It's great news for fantasy owners, but receiver Mike Wallace (leg) will be out and Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) has yet to play this year. That makes Wentz more of a low-end QB1 in his return to action this weekend.
