6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (back) isn't expected to play in the postseason if the Eagles advance, but he'll have a scan after the regular season to see if he has a chance to play in the playoffs. Even if Philly sneaks into the playoffs, we don't expect to see Wentz running the show under center. He's the team's franchise quarterback and there is too much to risk in the long term. Besides, Nick Foles stepped in last year and led the team on an improbable Super Bowl run, so he's more than capable as the backup. Wentz will lose some of his fantasy intrigue as a QB1 going into next year's drafts because of his injury issues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
