5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has fallen out of the fantasy QB1 ranks for Week 9. The Eagles will host the Chicago Bears and their fearsome pass defense. With the Eagles really getting the running game going in Week 8, Wentz only completed 17 passes for 172 yards. A similar performance might be in store this week, as the Eagles may focus on moving the ball on the ground and avoiding the Chicago secondary through the air as much as possible. Wentz is still a good option in 2QB and Superflex leagues, but in standard formats, this might be a good week to use your backup quarterback.
