Carson Wentz Leads The Eagles To Another Loss
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz played in another game in Week 5, leading the Eagles to a 38-29 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Wentz attempted 35 passes, completing 20 of them for 258 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Wentz's second interception was a last-second arm punt to end the game, but it still counts for his stats. He added four rushes for 11 yards. Wentz's first touchdown went for eights yards to Greg Ward and his next one was to Travis Fulgham for four yards. Wentz has not been the problem on the Eagles offense, but he hasn't done much to make up for the problems either. He shouldn't be relied upon in standard 12-team formats.
