Carlos Santana Hits Solo Home Run In Tuesday's Win
4 years agoKansas City Royals first baseman Carlos Santana went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays. It was his 10th home run of the year and second in as many games after his walk-off home run on Sunday. Santana appears to be on the verge of a strong bounce-back year after a rough 2020 campaign. Through 46 games this year, Santana is slashing .256/.393/.474 with 10 home runs, 32 RBI and 30 runs. He has a career-best 11.5% barrel rate, up from 6.7% last year, and his .398 xwOBA ranks amongst the top 7% of the league.
