Cardinals Won't Rule Out A Receiver In First Round
5 years agoDespite acquiring All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in a trade with the Texans, Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim won't rule out considering a wide receiver in the first round of next week's draft. It's unlikely, though, with Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk and Andy Isabella the top options on the depth chart. Arizona also used draft picks on KeeSean Johnson and Hakeem Butler last year. Picking at eighth overall in the first round, the Cardinals are expected to go with an offensive lineman or a defensive lineman over wideout, but things could change if one of the top receivers falls into the Cardinals lap at No. 8.
