6 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have free-agent third baseman Mike Moustakas on their radar this offseason. Moose saw a cold market last offseason when draft-pick compensation was tied to him with the Royals. That's not the case this year, so he should be able to land a multi-year contract after he hit .251/.315/.459 with 28 home runs and 95 RBI in 152 games with Kansas City and Milwaukee. That's after he had a career-high 38 bombs in 2017. The Red Birds would prefer to keep Matt Carpenter at first base moving forward.
