Cardinals Have One Positive COVID-19 Test
4 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have had one positive COVID-19 test so far during entry screening ahead of summer camps that will begin later this week. They are following the procedures of re-testing and self-quarantining the individual that tested positive. The Cardinals haven't had any players opt out of the shortened 2020 season as of now. At least a handful of other MLB teams have had multiple positive COVID-19 tests among their players and staff, but the majority of those that have tested positive weren't on the 40-man rosters and were isolated cases. Major league teams will have to stay on top of testing and health protocols at their home ballparks with players and staff reporting on Wednesday, July 1.
