Camilo Doval Picks Up MLB-Leading 27th Save
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants closer Camilo Doval picked up his major-league-leading 27th save of the season on Friday in a 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates to kick off the second half of the season. Doval didn't allow a run on one hit and didn't walk or strike out a batter in the outing. The 26-year-old right-hander has only blown two save chances this year and is sporting a 2.57 ERA (2.82 FIP), 1.05 WHIP, 17 walks and 57 strikeouts in 42 relief innings for the Giants in his third MLB campaign. Doval has full control of the closing job in San Francisco after earning his first All-Star nod this year. Continue to roll him out in fantasy lineups each and every day.
