6 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Cameron Meredith (knee) will not start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, according to head coach Sean Payton. The team will play it smart with Meredith during practices, though, and will manage his workload. Meredith sat out all of last year but had 66 catches for 888 yards and four touchdowns in 2016 with the Bears and has the opportunity to become the team's No. 2 receiver behind Michael Thomas. With quarterback Drew Brees throwing him passes, Meredith could have a great bounce-back year with good health.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
