6 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Cameron Meredith is dealing with an undisclosed injury that doesn't appear to be related to his surgically-repaired knee. The good news is that it's not related to the knee injury that kept him out all of last season. The bad news is he's sidelined in training camp and losing valuable repetitions as he tries to learn the offense and gel with quarterback Drew Brees. If this new injury doesn't sideline him for too long, he has a real opportunity for a bounce-back season as the No. 2 receiver behind Michael Thomas. Don't forget that Meredith had 66 catches for 888 yards and four touchdowns in 2016 with Chicago. His sleeper status takes somewhat of a hit with this newest injury, though.
