Cameron Johnson Sidelined For 10 Days
8 months agoBrooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (calf) will be re-evaluated in 10 days, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post. Johnson is dealing with a left calf strain, which sounds a bit more significant than the contusion he was reported to be nursing originally. Based on the 27-year-old's 10-day timeline, it effectively rules him out for Brooklyn's next six games, including Monday versus the Charlotte Hornets, with his next real chance to return coming on Nov. 10 against the Boston Celtics. The sharpshooting Johnson is a fantasy must-stash while he is healing, and Cam Thomas' torrid start (66 points in two games) makes him a must-start across all formats in the meantime. Royce O'Neale and Lonnie Walker IV should also benefit on the wings.
