5 years agoThe Carolina Panthers have agreed to let quarterback Cam Newton and his agency seek a trade. The Panthers announced earlier this offseason that they were moving forward with Newton, who played in just two games last year with a serious foot injury. However, they have never completely committed to him and wanted to first see if he was 100 percent healthy this spring. That has become more complicated during the coronavirus pandemic and with team facilities shut down indefinitely. The former MVP can do it on the ground and through the air, but he's become an injury risk the last two seasons, and now his playing destination is unknown for 2020. Wherever he's playing, he'll mostly be a QB2 with QB1 upside if he can stay healthy and bounce back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
