C.J. Mosley, Quinnen Williams Unlikely To Practice Wednesday
5 years agoNew York Jets head coach Adam Gase said that linebacker C.J. Mosley (groin) and rookie defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (ankle) are unlikely to practice on Wednesday. Williams was seen at the team's facility in a walking boot, while Mosley will undergo an MRI exam on Monday. Mosley is one of the best all-around linebackers in the league, so his injury will be closely monitored by those in IDP leagues. These are key injuries for a revamped Jets Defense that will have their hands full in Week 2 on Monday night against a Browns team looking to rebound after a disappointing loss in the season opener. Cleveland's offense will catch a break if one or both of Mosley and Williams miss Week 2.
