C.J. Cron Sitting Out Saturday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman C.J. Cron is not in the starting lineup on Saturday. Cron has been a very good waiver wire pickup this year, hitting .270/.336/.529 with 13 home runs, 29 runs and 35 RBI in 189 at-bats for the powerful Twins lineup. He'll get a day of rest. Marwin Gonzalez is at first base and is batting third against Rays starting pitcher Yonny Chirinos. Ehire Adrianza is at the 6 and is hitting sixth with Jorge Polanco serving as the designated hitter and in the two spot of the order. Adrianza will be a low-priced DFS sleeper at shortstop. He's hitting a modest .256 on the year with four homers and 13 RBI in limited at-bats.
