5 years agoDallas Cowboys Pro Bowl cornerback Byron Jones (hip) will not start in Week 1 against the Giants, according to a source. Jones is recovering from offseason hip surgery, and the Cowboys will ease him into the season opener and monitor his snaps. As a result, Jones obviously isn't an option in IDP formats. Dallas' defense/special teams is still a top-10 fantasy unit against an aging Eli Manning at home in the season opener, though. Jones being on a snap count is good news for Giants receivers, most notably Sterling Shepard.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
