Buccaneers Looking For Pass-Catching Running Back
5 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers would love to grab a complete running back who can catch the football consistently to complement quarterback Tom Brady in this year's draft, but they are also looking for a top cornerback. The fact that the Bucs aren't satisfied with Ronald Jones II is bad news for his fantasy potential in 2020 with Peyton Barber now out of town. Jones will still be plenty involved in the team's running game, but probably more as an early down, short-yardage and goal-line back. The Bucs could be hesitant to trust his pass-blocking skills heading into his third season, and that's even more important with Brady now under center. Some may assume that Jones will break out now that Brady is his QB, but you shouldn't be so overly optimistic.
