Buccaneers Agree To Acquire Rob Gronkowski
5 years agoThe New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms on a trade to send tight end Rob Gronkowski and a seventh-round pick to the Buccaneers in exchange for a fourth-rounder, according to sources. Gronk already took a physical with the Buccaneers, so he's headed to Tampa after retiring for a year. He will reunite with quarterback Tom Brady and should be the team's top pass-catching tight end over Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard. Expect Tampa to trade one of Brate or Howard during this week's draft as a result of this trade for Gronk. Gronkowski will turn 31 years old and nagging injuries slowed him down in 2018, but he'll return to at least midrange TE1 status now that he's back.
