Bubba Ventrone Interviews For Colts Head-Coaching Position
2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts interviewed special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone for their head-coaching job on Wednesday, according to a source. Ventrone has been with the team as their special teams coach since Frank Reich was hired as the head coach in 2018. He was previously with the New England Patriots as an assistant special teams coordinator from 2015 to 2017. Ventrone played 97 games in the NFL after being an undrafted free agent in 2005, recording 64 tackles with the Patriots, Browns and 49ers. The Colts have also requested interviews with Aaron Glenn, Ben Johnson, Raheem Morris, Shane Steichen and Ejiro Evero for the head-coaching job, and they'll also look at interim coach Jeff Saturday.
