6 years agoAtlanta Braves rookie starting pitchers Bryse Wilson, 21, and Kyle Wright, 23, will follow Julio Teheran in the starting rotation for the opening series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. Wright is the team's No. 2 prospect, while Wilson comes in at No. 7, per MLB Pipeline. Touki Toussaint was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday. Wilson had a 3.29 ERA in five spring appearances, while Wright posted a 7.11 ERA in five outings and struck out 18 batters in 12 2/3 innings. Outfielder Adam Duvall was also optioned to the minors after being acquired from the Reds last year. Duvall's chances were hurt when the Braves acquired veteran outfielder Matt Joyce from the Giants on Saturday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
