3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City and will take the roster spot of starting pitcher Trevor Bauer, who was placed on administrative leave by the league on Friday. Graterol is an intriguing hard-throwing reliever who had a nice 3.09 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 23 1/3 regular season relief innings for the Blue last year. However, he allowed three runs in his three outings covering 1 1/3 innings this year before being sent down and has struck out just 6.3 per nine innings in his three major league seasons covering 34 1/3 innings to this point. The 22-year-old right-hander had a 6.10 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 9.6 K/9 in 10 1/3 relief innings at Oklahoma City. While he's still young a developing, Graterol could work his way into high-leverage situations in LA's bullpen if he sticks around.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
