Bruce Arians Lobbying DeSean Jackson To Stick Around
6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers new head coach Bruce Arians is planning to lobby wide receiver DeSean Jackson to stick around. Jackson has struggled to get on the same page with quarterback Jameis Winston and asked for a trade in the middle of the season, so he clearly wants out of Tampa. However, D-Jax could have a place as a significant deep threat in Arians' offense next season. The 32-year-old is a boom-or-bust deep threat in standard-scoring leagues, but he still put up an impressive 18.9 yards per catch in 12 games in 2018. If Jackson returns, it'd be bad news for Chris Godwin.
