Bruce Arians Likes Kyle Trask
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers senior advisor Bruce Arians said on the Rich Eisen Show that the team is "in good hands" with quarterback Kyle Trask moving forward after Tom Brady retired following the 2022 season. It comes after new offensive coordinator Dave Canales said that he considers Trask an efficient "point guard" in an offense. Trask, a second-rounder out of Florida in 2021, has had the opportunity to watch Brady operate the last two years, but he's only attempted nine passes in one game. Despite that, Arians said he's "very comfortable" with Trask as their guy in 2023. The 24-year-old has the physical traits and is mobile, but his experience is obviously lacking. There's a chance Trask is Tampa's starter entering 2023, but the Bucs will surely look for other options in free agency, the draft and possibly on the trade market.
