Browns Sign Harrison Bryant, Donovan Peoples-Jones
5 years agoThe Cleveland Browns signed fourth-round tight end Harrison Bryant and sixth-round wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones to rookie four-year deals on Wednesday. Bryant's deal is worth a projected $4.06 million with a $769,029 signing bonus, while People-Jones' contract is worth roughly $3.48 million with a $186,606 signing bonus, according to Spotrac.com. Bryant isn't overly gifted athletically and joins a crowded tight end room that also includes Austin Hooper and David Njoku, so he's not expected to contribute immediately. Peoples-Jones has athletic ability and some long-term upside, but he's likely to contribute mostly on special teams in 2020.
