Browns Agree With Case Keenum
5 years agoThe Cleveland Browns agreed to a three-year, $18 million deal with quarterback Case Keenum on Monday, according to a source. The deal will include $10 million guaranteed. The 32-year-old veteran signal-caller will serve as Baker Mayfield's backup in Cleveland. Keenum enjoyed the best season of his career in 2017 with Minnesota when he started 14 games and took the Vikings deep into the playoffs. He's predictably come back down to Earth the last two years with the Broncos and Redskins. The depth behind Mayfield was in question last year, but Keenum will provide an experienced and reliable backup. He won't have any fantasy value unless Mayfield is hurt or benched.
