6 years agoThe Denver Broncos released backup quarterback Chad Kelly on Wednesday following his arrest for criminal trespassing, according to a source. Kelly had off-field issues in college as well, which was one of the reasons he was the last pick in the 2017 draft. It's a shame, since Kelly was primed to see starts in the second half of the season as the Broncos looked toward the future. Denver will now move forward with Kevin Hogan as the backup to the struggling Case Keenum.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
