Brock Bowers Looks To Continue Dominance At Tight End
1 month agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, the lone shining star of a dismal offense, is looking to carry on the momentum of the biggest game of his career when he faces the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. Despite an ugly performance by his offense outside of garbage time, Bowers caught eight of 12 targets for 97 yards and a touchdown. He punctuated his performance with a 57-yard catch-and-run touchdown in the first quarter. Bowers has a tough job, considering the offense around him is depleted of weapons. Lead wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) has been ruled out in the upcoming game, and their WR2, Jakobi Meyers (ankle), is questionable. The rookie TE has all the tools to succeed despite the offense around him, but he'll need at least decent quarterback play to have another big game. Despite the tough matchup, he’s a must-start in all formats.
