6 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Brian Goodwin (groin) went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a walk for Triple-A Omaha on Monday night, while outfielder Jorge Soler (toe) went 1-for-4 with a walk. Both outfielders are getting close to rejoining the Royals and should see regular playing time when they come off the disabled list. Goodwin had eight hits in his first 17 at-bats for the Royals before his injury. Both players could be useful in AL-only leagues to finish out the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
