5 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers are "engaged" in trade conversations about San Francisco Giants closer Will Smith, according to sources. Milwaukee already has one of the most dominant closers in the game in Josh Hader, but acquiring Smith would give the Brewers another excellent late left-inning arm. Back in San Fran, a Smith departure might turn their bullpen into a committee approach consisting of arms like Tony Watson, Sam Dyson, Reyes Moronta and Mark Melancon. It might be anyone's guess on a nightly basis on who is closing games. Smith has been a top fantasy closer this year, but a move to Milwaukee might be one of the worst destinations for his fantasy value.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
