Brewers Moving To Six-Man Rotation
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell said that starting pitcher Junior Guerra (forearm) will come off the disabled list to start Tuesday against the Nationals, while Freddy Peralta will be recalled to start Wednesday. Counsell is unsure how long the Brewers will use six starters, but they will eventually go back to a standard five-man rotation. Guerra has been decent this year with a 3.23 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and career-high 8.8 K/9, but he's a bit risky as a streamer in his first start back against the Nats. The rookie Peralta has been lights out in his seven starts for the Brew Crew, going 4-1 with a 2.65 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 12.1 K/9. You should definitely consider picking him back up in mixed leagues if he was dropped by his previous owner.
