Brewers Acquiring Joakim Soria
6 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers are acquiring Chicago White Sox closer Joakim Soria, according to a source. It's unclear what the Brewers are sending back to Chicago, but we should find out soon. Soria has been solid for the Pale Hose this year, sporting a 2.56 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 49 strikeouts in 38 2/3 innings to go along with 16 saves. He'll lose most of his fantasy appeal with this trade, though, as he'll likely set up for closer Corey Knebel with his new team. With Soria now gone in Chicago, Jace Fry and Juan Minaya could both see save chances for the rest of the year.
