Brett Rypien Throws For Under 200 Yards In Win
2 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien didn't look all that great in just his third career start in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals, but he did lead the Broncos to only their fourth win of the season. In the 24-15 victory, Rypien went 21-for-26 for 197 yards, one touchdown and one interception while getting sacked seven times for 41 yards. He also fumbled the ball twice and lost one of them. The 26-year-old was filling in for Russell Wilson (concussion), but there's a good chance that Wilson will return for a Week 16 battle against the Los Angeles Rams. Most of Denver's offense came on the ground against Arizona, with Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack combining for 167 rushing yards on 29 carries.
