Brenton Doyle Back In Friday's Lineup
5 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder Brendon Doyle (calf) is back in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against the visiting Kansas City Royals, playing center field and batting fifth against Royals left-hander Cole Ragans. Doyle fouled a ball off his calf on Wednesday and was held out of the lineup for the Fourth of July on Thursday as a precaution. Now that he's back in the lineup to kick off a weekend series at Coors Field, fantasy managers need to return him to their starting lineups in all formats. The 26-year-old has already matched his career-high of 10 home runs set in his rookie season last year and he's two stolen bases shy of tying his mark of 22 stolen bases in 2023. Overall, he's hitting .268 (80-for-299) with 32 RBI and 49 runs scored as one of the more exciting and emerging power/speed threats in baseball at a hitter-friendly venue.
